About the Giving Common:
The Giving Common is an innovative web-based technology platform that provides comprehensive and current information about nonprofit organizations across the Commonwealth—and makes online charitable giving easy and quick. It is an initiative of the Boston Foundation, Greater Boston’s community foundation, in collaboration with our area’s nonprofits.
“We know there are thousands of people who care deeply about helping the nonprofit organizations that do important work in their communities,” said Paul S. Grogan, President and CEO of the Boston Foundation. “Through the Giving Common Challenge, we are asking them to step up on behalf of those nonprofits – and The Boston Foundation is awarding $150,000 in prizes to help raise even more for this critical sector. I urge the people of Massachusetts to give to the nonprofits that mean the most to them and tell their friends about this exciting event.”
