ADD TO CALENDAR

The Champions of the Charles Gala is our opportunity to celebrate YOU, the friends and supporters who make our work to protect and preserve the Charles River Watershed possible.

Mark your calendars for a beautiful evening next to the Charles on the Royal Sonesta Terrace in Cambridge. Gather with friends, allies, and partners to enjoy great food and drink, the River of Dreams silent auction, live music, and community as we celebrate our lasting commitment to a clean, resilient Charles River and all that we’ve accomplished together this year.

MEET OUR 2023 CHAMPIONS:

CONGRESSWOMAN KATHERINE CLARK

Democratic Whip of the U.S. House of Representatives whose district encompasses much of the Charles River watershed, Congresswoman Katherine Clark is an outspoken leader on reducing toxins in our water including PFAS, plastics, and the need to invest in climate resilience to protect our communities from the weather extremes of climate change.

GINA MCCARTHY

Gina McCarthy, White House National Climate Advisor under President Biden and U.S. EPA Administrator for President Obama. Gina secured a new EPA Clean Water Rule protecting 60% of the nation's rivers, lakes, streams, and wetlands by restoring the federal government’s authority to limit pollution in our nation’s waterways.
