What's Your Vision for a Restored Muddy River?

  • Fenway Community Center 1282 Boylston Street Boston, MA, 02215 United States (map)

The Muddy River is the essential jewel of the Emerald Necklace––flowing through the beloved urban park in Brookline and Boston. But, did you know that the Muddy is the single most polluted tributary to the Charles River? We can clean it up––but only with widespread public support. That’s where YOU come in.

Please join us to kick off a community-led visioning process for a cleaner, more resilient Muddy River. Over the next year, we will be working together to identify the best solutions to improve water quality, habitat, and health of our beloved Muddy.

At the meeting we will offer a brief presentation on the history of the Muddy, the sources of contamination today, and initial thoughts on what can be done to restore it, all for your reflection and feedback.
