1) Mystic River Herring Brigade on Friday and Saturday

CRWA is working with the Mystic River Watershed Association to help them clean up the Mystic River, which got a “D” rating from the EPA in their spring report card. Join government officials, the State Department of Marine Fisheries, and the Medford Boat Club at the Annual Herring Bucket Brigade.

Help the herring on their journey to reach the Upper Mystic Lake to lay their eggs this Friday and Saturday, May 25 and 26, from 6am -12noon each day at the Herring Brigade. Meet at the Dam between the upper and lower Mystic lakes with your bucket or net if you have one. For more information, contact Chuck Roche at rochefam5@comcast.net
