1)       “Green Masterpieces” Concert

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, September 5^th! Charles River Watershed Association and the Boston Landmarks Orchestra will present “Green Masterpieces”, an evening of free outdoor music inspired by nature. The event will take place at 7pm at the Hatch Shell on the Esplanade, and is part of the orchestra’s summer series, “Landmarks Festival at the Shell.”  . The night promises to be an exciting celebration of our natural landscapes, beautiful river and parklands and the performing arts.  Members of CRWA who wish to reserve a chair in the front row may contact Lorraine at lburke@crwa.org or calling 781-788-0007 x231; seats are limited.

2)       “Treasures of the Charles” dinner cruise and silent auction

You’re invited to join the fun at CRWA’s Annual Dinner Riverboat Cruise on Monday, September 10 from 5:30 to 8:30pm. Check out CRWA’s first silent auction at http://www.crwa.org/events/AuctionPages/index.php and bid online; featured treasures include a weeklong ‘island getaway’ at a luxurious hilltop villa on the exclusive island of Mustique in the southern Caribbean, a lunch with Michael Dukakis, a recreational kayak, and more! The final bidding will take place before the cruise at a reception at the Cambridge Royal Sonesta Hotel.
