1)       “Treasures of the Charles” dinner cruise and silent auction
You’re invited to CRWA’s Annual Dinner Riverboat Cruise on Monday, September 10 from 5:30 to 8:30pm. The event will begin with a reception and silent auction at 5:30 pm at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge, followed by a twilight riverboat dinner cruise on the Charles River. View a variety of treasures up for bid at CRWA’s first silent auction at http://www.crwa.org/events/AuctionPages/index.php;  you can bid online for a weeklong getaway on the exclusive island of Mustique in the southern Caribbean, a sailing trip, a Bose music system, a weekend in Vermont, and more! 2)       Muddy River watershed walk
On Sunday, September 9 from 11am-12:30pm join CRWA's Kate Bowditch for a walking tour of the Muddy River watershed, discussing the river’s hydrology and
water quality, as well as  summary of the plans for dredging and restoration. Meet at the Allerton Overlook on Leverett Pond (intersection of Pond Ave and Allerton Road) in Brookline. For more information, contact Brookline GreenSpace Alliance, info@brooklinegreenspace.org.

3)       Muddy River Environmental Film Series
Join CRWA at the Coolidge Corner Theatre from September 23-25 for screenings of a variety of films on the themes of food, climate change, and oceans. There will be a special live performance by Yo La Tengo on September 25^th as part of the ‘ocean’ event. 4)       Annual Meeting date change
This year’s CRWA annual meeting has been rescheduled. Please mark your calendar for Monday, November 19, 2007 from 5:30 – 9:00pm. More information and an invitation will be sent out soon!
