Come to CRWA’s Annual Meeting on Monday, November 19th
Please join
Charles River Watershed Association staff, community advocates,
government officials, academics, and river enthusiasts to learn
about CRWA’s recent accomplishments at the local, regional and
national levels. The event will be held from 5:30 to 9:00pm at
the Newton Marriott Hotel. This year CRWA is honoring the
following individuals for their work on behalf of water
conservation: Robert Lowell of the Department of Conservation
and Recreation (DCR), Todd Borci of the US Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) and MA Department of Environmental
Protection (DEP) Deputy Commissioner Arleen O'Donnell. Noted
river conservationist Tim Palmer will present the keynote
address.
Tickets for
the Annual Meeting, including a buffet dinner, are $60 for CRWA
members and $75 for the general public; CRWA volunteers receive

“Greening”
Market Street - Part 2: Workshop on November 13
Last summer, CRWA, in partnership with Allston Brighton CDC and
Allston Brighton Green Space Advocates (ABGSA), held a series of
street greening workshops. Based on the feedback received, we
have started drafting design guidelines for greening three
streets in Allston Brighton: Everett Street, Market Street and
Brooks Street. ABGSA members are proud to invite you to an
exciting follow-up meeting focused on the Market Street
corridor!

Brown Bag Lunch on Storrow Drive reconstruction: CANCELLED
This Brown
Bag, originally scheduled for November 13, 2007, has been
cancelled due to the fact that the reconstruction project has
been delayed indefinitely.

of the construction project is announced.
