Whole Foods
Market in the Charles River Watershed!

Dear Friends
of the Charles River,
On Wednesday,
April 27th, all nine Whole Foods Markets in the Charles River
watershed will
be donating 5% of their sales to the Charles River Watershed
Association
for the Earth Day Cleanup. This money provides us with the
resources to
organize over a thousand volunteers along the entire length of
the Charles
(to volunteer for the cleanup, visit our website at
www.charlesriver.org!).
We urge you to do your family grocery shopping
Wednesday,
maybe even stock up the pantry a little. CRWA Executive Director
Robert
Zimmerman will be on hand at the Bellingham store, celebrating
CRWA’s 40th
birthday year, along with his own birthday (we won’t say how
old he is).
Cake will be served, of course! CRWA staff members will be
visiting the
rest of the Whole Foods Markets around the watershed, so if you
see one of us,
come say hi!
