A Memo
from Charles River Watershed Association's Executive Director, Bob
Zimmerman
To:
Everyone Trying to Contact Us
From:
All of Us at CRWA
February
2, 2006
As
many of you know, we moved on January 6 from Waltham to 190 Park Road,
Weston, on the grounds of the Leo Martin Golf Course into what was once
the Francis Ouimet Golf Museum.
It
is a beautiful building, and will become a wonderful home for us.
For the moment, however, although the building is great, our
communication situation is difficult.
While
we were originally scheduled to get our phones hooked up on January 6, as
of today, 26 days later, we are still waiting for Verizon to provide phone
service. Further, it is
likely that we will not get phone service until the middle or end of the
week of February 6th. We
apologize to all who have attempted to call us during this period.
Currently we are having our calls forwarded to cell phones, but
they are simply not adequate to the task.
When I attempted to call our office from my car the other day, over
the course of a half hour, all I ever got was our voice mail.
It was very frustrating, to say the least.
We
have also become aware that at least some of our mail, which was to have
been forwarded by the US Postal Service to us, has been forwarded to
Texas, and then Returned to Sender. If
this has happened to you, please let us know, preferably by email, since
our Comcast email accounts work just fine.
You can reach us at charles@crwa.org.
Thanks
for your patience. With luck
we will surmount these obstacles soon.
We hope you will visit us at our new office.
Bob
Zimmerman
