1) Volunteer to help our
efforts to protect the Charles River!
CRWA has many on-going projects that could use an extra
hand, including our monthly water quality monitoring
program which involves taking an early morning water
sample once a month; researching grant opportunities
to help support our innovative projects; and helping
organize photos and slides of the river. For more
information on any of these projects, visit our website at
www.crwa.org/volunteer.html, or contact volunteer
coordinator Rebecca Scibek by replying to this email or
calling 781-788-0007 x200.
2) Learn about industry along the Charles at our next brown bag
lunch
This coming Tuesday, November 21, at 12:30pm at
CRWA’s office, CRWA water sampling volunteer and history
buff Craig Austin will give a presentation on the history of
innovation and industry along the Charles River. It is sure
to be an interesting and informative talk, and we would love
to have you join us! As a reminder, there is more
information about this and other upcoming CRWA events on our
website at
www.crwa.org/events/events.html
3) CRWA’s Annual Meeting is TOMORROW
If you’ve
been thinking about coming to hear Bill McKibben speak
tomorrow evening but not gotten around to signing up, this
is your last chance! CRWA’s Annual Meeting will take
place tomorrow, Wednesday, November 15, 2006, from 6-9pm
at the Newton Marriott Hotel. A buffet dinner will be
followed by presentation of CRWA awards, and then McKibben’s
talk.

your ticket, contact Kevin Hudson at 781-788-0007 x231, or
