Intern Farewell

After a fabulous semester, we are sad to bid farewell to our Volunteer Engagement Fellow Jack Dutra!

During his time, Jack played an essential role in the Charles River Earth Day Cleanup––conducting outreach, communicating with volunteers, creating educational materials, and more.

Additionally, Jack supported all of our field science programs: from benthic macroinvertebrate sampling to culvert assessments to water quality monitoring, Jack learned the ins and outs of river science. A rising senior at the University of New Hampshire, Jack is majoring in Environmental Science.

Charles River

Charles River Watershed Association’s mission is to use science, advocacy, and the law to protect, restore, and enhance the Charles River and its watershed. We develop science-based strategies to increase resilience, protect public health, and promote environmental equity as we confront a changing climate.
