Racers

New England's largest canoe and kayak race, held each April, includes 6, 9, and 19 mile races, a 24-mile, five-leg canoe relay race, and a 26-mile professional marathon.

The Annual Run of the Charles showcases the ongoing improvements in the Charles River, while drawing 1,500 paddlers and hundreds of spectators to enjoy a day on the river.

The event featured a variety of races for all skill levels, from expert to novice.

Sponsorship Opportunities

The 30th Run of the Charles Canoe & Kayak Race is currently seeking sponsors for this year’s race. Your sponsorship can provide you with significant exposure to CRWA members, racers, and others. Vendors Welcome

We are currently seeking vendors to exhibit at our Finish Line Festival at DCR’s Artesani Park in Brighton (off Soldier's Field Road). Over the course of the day approximately 3000 paddlers and spectators pass through the park. Advertise in the Race Brochure

To reach over 3,500 potential paddlers, please consider placing an ad in the Run of the Charles Race Book. Please download the advertising contract here. The Race Book is a 32-page publication that is distributed to past and potential new participants. Books are also made available at multiple REI and Eastern Mountain Sports store locations.
