Charles River Watershed Association

Blue Cities Exchange, a web-based program developed by CRWA, is a prototype of an online stormwater design tool which will help property owners determine feasible stormwater management techniques for their property. Currently still in development, the prototype site demonstrates these design tool capabilities using data from three Charles River watershed communities: Milford, Bellingham and Franklin.

CRWA is providing public access to Blue Cities Exchange for a limited time only. Fill out the form to the right for an exclusive chance to test this unique tool.

Blue City Exchange - Charles River Watershed Association

Blue Cities Exchange allows you to:

  • Analyze your property's potential for green infrastructure
  • Select from a range of potential stormwater management techniques
  • Find cost estimates for the management technique of your choice

The website and software, as well as the concepts leading to website development, remain the Intellectual Property of Charles River Watershed Association. The website remains under construction. Its completion is dependent on CRWA acquiring necessary funding. CRWA’s ultimate goal for the website is to have it serve as a stormwater pollution trading exchange platform where property owners can buy and sell stormwater reduction credits to reduce pollution at a minimal cost.
