Heather serves as CRWA’s General Counsel and Policy Director, advocating for solutions to the most challenging environmental problems that face the Charles River watershed.
Prior to joining CRWA, Heather was a staff attorney at Conservation Law Foundation, where she worked on high impact climate litigation, fought for public access to the waterfront, and advocated for increased climate resiliency. Heather started her legal career as a fellow at Defenders of Wildlife in Washington, DC and then as an associate at the Southern Environmental Law Center in Charleston, SC. Heather earned her B.S. from Clemson University and J.D. from Georgetown Law. She has also participated in UMass Boston’s Emerging Leaders Program.
