Commonwealth Conversations comes to MetroWest tomorrow

Commonwealth Conversations

Tomorrow, April 4th, attend Metrowest Commonwealth Conversations Town Hall Forum in Ashland to speak about the need for adequate funding for the environment. Let your state senators know that funding state environmental agencies including the Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Conservation and Recreation and the Division of Ecological Restoration is a priority for you. Participants will have 2 minutes each to make remarks. The tour will be hosted by Senator Jamie Eldridge, Senator Karen Spilka, Senator Cynthia Creem and Senator Mike Barrett. Boston Harbor & Islands Science Symposium

Peddocks Island

Join CRWA on April 11th and 12th at the Boston Harbor & Island Science Symposium for two days of networking and learning about the Boston Harbor estuary and islands. The event will feature field trips, a Science Café, keynote presentations, lightning talks, panels, and presentations. CRWA staff will host an “hour in the life” of the Charles River field trip on April 11th. CRWA's Katie Friedman will give a presentation on April 12th. The event is hosted by the National Parks of Boston and Northeastern University with additional sponsorship from the Boston Harbor Now, UMass Boston, and the Massachusetts Bays National Estuary Program. To register and for more information.
