Charles River Watershed Association's 36th Annual Run of the Charles: Boston’s Premier Paddling Race, welcomed over 800 paddlers from across the nation on Sunday, April 29, 2018 to compete in the largest flat-bottom boat race across New England. This year we welcomed 5 paddlers from the Tianjin Haihe Kayak Club and the Saifeiqi Club in China who were visiting Boston on a trip organized by Cultural Adventure Travel. Nearly 150 volunteers participated at the event along with thousands of spectators who cheered on paddlers competing on the beautiful Charles River. The race culminated in a Finish Line Festival at DCR's Artesani Park in Brighton. Check out photos and video from the event as well as the race results below.
