Maury Eldridge began photographing the Charles River twenty years ago from a canoe on his daily retreat to the river. He passed the pictures along to friends at CRWA, where they found their way into online and print publications. His images of the Charles' beauty hang in a variety of health care settings, where they bring respite to waiting patients. His photos have been published in the Boston Globe and have rallied support for environmental causes.

Emily Moothart has been playing in water for as long as she can remember and loves the challenge of photographing it. While in Boston, she's always lived within a 5 minute walk of the Charles and is enamored by the continuous life the water gives to animal and human creatures alike. Emily has made a career as a water-based environmental consultant and when she's not working behind a computer she can be found enjoying the Charles via many modes: paddling, biking, walking, running, skating, or photographing.
