Community Bittersweet Removal

  • Bogastow Brook 243 Ridge Street Millis, MA, 02054 United States (map)

Join us on Saturday, September 13th, to remove dangerous invasive Bittersweet vines!

These fast-growing, tenacious vines threaten native species & mature trees. But with your help, we can remove them & restore the river ecosystem. You don’t want to miss out! This fun, family-friendly event is a great way to explore our watershed, meet new friends, and make a difference for our river. Spots are limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

This event will also be hosted in conjunction with our Regional Tree Planting & Protection Plan. Come and learn from our team about how we’re helping watershed municipalities protect and grow our tree canopy to increase climate resilience. Free drinks and snacks will be available!

Funding for this project was provided by the USDA Forest Service.
