Established in 2025, the Young Professionals Board is a group of emerging leaders dedicated to supporting CRWA’s mission to protect, restore, and enhance the Charles River and its watershed through science, advocacy, and the law.

Mission

The mission of the Young Professionals Board (YPB) is to act as ambassadors of CRWA and support the organization’s goals by engaging the watershed community through networking opportunities, fundraising events, and volunteer and advocacy outreach.

What to Expect

YPB members will:

Build awareness of environmental challenges facing the Charles River Watershed
Recruit donors, volunteers, and advocates to support CRWA’s mission
Raise $100,000 annually for Charles River Watershed Association though events and personal fundraising
Represent the interests of the Charles River Watershed as early and mid-career leaders within the Greater Boston region
