Eliminating CSOs In The Charles—What Are Our Options?

HEAR FROM THE EXPERTS & SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS!

The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) and the Cities of Cambridge and Somerville recently presented over a dozen options – or “alternatives” – for reducing Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs) in the Charles River, one of which they will select as a "preferred alternative" to implement in the coming decades.

During this webinar, experts at CRWA will provide background on this issue and discuss which option they’d like MWRA to choose. We'd also love to hear from you on your priorities for CSO work in the future. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to significantly improve conditions on the Charles River!

For a deeper dive on what MWRA, Cambridge and Somerville are doing, check out their project website.
