Meet Your Watershed: City Streams Walk

  • Mass Audubon's Boston Nature Center & Wildlife Sanctaruy 500 Walk Hill Street Boston, Massachusetts, 02131 United States (map)

Join CRWA and Mt. Hope Canterbury Neighborhood Association for a walking tour of Canterbury Brook!

Canterbury Brook, one of the only above ground streams in Boston, is a suffering waterway. The Brook faces ongoing flooding, pollution and degradation. We will walk the stream's length and discuss both the problems and solutions for this important tributary. It’s time to take action and restore what could and should be an urban oasis for the residents of Mattapan and beyond.

The walk is approximately 1.5 miles long and loops back to the starting location.

See a map of the tentative path here!
