It’s Time to Meet Your Watershed!

General Information

CRWA is excited to partner with the Department of Conservation and Recreation to host their Weed Watchers Program. We are grateful to be hosted by the Massachusetts Horticultural Society for this event.

The Weed Watchers Program is a hands-on training session which will provide you with the skills and resources needed to identify and manage aquatic plants. Paying special attention to invasive plant species, the class will help prepare you to monitor and protect aquatic ecosystems you care about. Additionally, we encourage participants to bring their own aquatic plants to learn how to identify them.

Arrival & Parking

Class will take place in the Putnam Building at the Garden at Elm Bank, 900 Washington Street, Wellesley, MA 02482  (42°16'33.2"N, 71°18'09.0"W).

After turning into the entrance at 900 Washington Street, cross the bridge and follow the one-way road to the right. Continue past the soccer fields for approximately one-half mile until you reach a T intersection. Turn left and continue past the main garden parking lot.

You'll see a greenhouse ahead on your right. You're welcome to park in the adjacent lot. The Putnam Building—a brick building with a small greenhouse attached—is located directly across from the parking lot. The classroom entrance is inside the first red door as you walk up to the building.
