Join Indigenous Peoples Day (IPD) Newton and Charles River Watershed Association for the fourth annual Quinobequin Intertribal Paddle!

The paddle will begin at the historic boat house in Newton. Participants will paddle together along a guided route to the Cove at Auburndale Park.

After the gathering, lunch, and speaking program, participants will paddle back to the starting location as part of a guided return journey.

  • Admission is free for all Native American participants

  • For non-Native participants, a $100 donation per participant (children and adults) is requested.

If you are unable to attend, please consider making a donation in support of another participant. All proceeds support the Quinobequin Intertribal Paddle Run 2026 and Indigenous Peoples Day Newton 6th Ceremonial Celebration.

Art by Andromeda Lisle, a multi-media artist living in Cambridge, with her two cats and two ferrets. She received a BS in Fine Arts from Skidmore College and focuses her creative energies on works related to indigenous animal mythos and her own multi-ethnic background, comprising Cherokee, Black, and Irish heritages. Recently, she has begun painting public art murals, hoping to further preserve and educate about the cultural importance of animals.
