Jon Flynn serves as legal director, responsible for developing and implementing bold legal and policy strategies to conserve and to restore the Charles River watershed.

Flynn has over two decades of experience as an attorney in private practice and government. In private practice, he advised clients on a wide range of regulatory compliance and government enforcement matters including financial market reform, electric grid resilience, and renewable energy standards. In government, Flynn served as a policy advisor at the Securities and Exchange Commission where he helped to implement regulatory reforms mandated under the Dodd-Frank Act following the 2007-08 financial crisis.
