José Eguigure

José serves as Director of Donor Engagement. He is an entrepreneur and strategic connector with deep expertise in building partnerships, mobilizing capital, and fundraising for mission-driven organizations across the nonprofit, deeptech, and innovation ecosystems in the Americas. He has advised companies and organizations such as CEMEX, Ginkgo Bioworks, Ranger Software Group, and CareGo, and co-led business development resulting in seven and eight figure grants for nonprofits such as Global Communities and Hunger Relief International. 

José is an Edward S. Mason Fellow in Public Policy and earned a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University. He also holds a Master in Public Management from Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana and a B.S. in Socio-economic and Environmental Engineering from Zamorano University in his native Honduras. Both degrees were awarded with distinction.

An avid squash player, athlete, and connector, José was recognized as Harvard Club of Boston Member of the Year in 2026. More than anything, he has a deep personal connection with the Charles River, a sanctuary he believes should be celebrated, protected, and enjoyed by everyone.
