Marwa Alnaal serves as the Advocacy Director at Charles River Watershed Association, where she leads the organization’s advocacy strategy, policy engagement, and coalition-building efforts. She brings a strong background in government affairs, legislative advocacy, and cross-sector collaboration, with experience working alongside community partners, policymakers, and institutional stakeholders to advance equitable and impactful policy outcomes.

Prior to joining CRWA, Marwa led and supported advocacy initiatives focused on expanding access, strengthening public systems, and elevating community voices in policy spaces. Her work has included engaging with municipal and state officials, developing advocacy frameworks, coordinating coalitions, and guiding organizations through strategic policy planning and public-facing advocacy efforts.

Marwa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from Clark University. Outside of work, Marwa enjoys traveling and staying connected with her 5 siblings, who live across the United States, reading, and watching and listening to true-crime documentaries/podcasts. She most cherishes spending quality time with her daughter, Sham, whether exploring new places or enjoying everyday moments together.
