Internship Details:

Charles River Watershed Association (CRWA) is seeking a Restoration intern to work with the Restoration team on community engagement and desktop mapping projects.

RWA works to protect, restore, and enhance the Charles River and its watershed through science, advocacy, and the law. Our River Restoration program focuses on restoring the river through dam removal, stream restoration, invasive plant management, and wetlands preservation. We do this by working directly with communities to identify projects that help restore and revitalize the river's natural ecology.

The Restoration intern will support the development and/or maintenance of interactive GIS mapping and data analysis projects. Complementary to the data work, the intern would also engage directly with communities in our watershed by assisting with community engagement and outreach activities. The intern will also have the opportunity to conduct site work with our staff. The intern will directly support many of CRWA’s grant projects, providing valuable insight and experience with interdisciplinary advocacy, engagement, monitoring, and planning.
