Offramp Over Muddy River Being Removed

Congratulations to MassDOT, Charlesgate Alliance, and the Emerald Necklace Conservancy for breaking ground on the new Boston Bowker Overpass Bridge Superstructure Replacement and Widening Project. Not only will this project improve travel, enhance parkland, and add bike lanes, but it will also remove and relocate the off-ramp over the Muddy River to Charlesgate West.

By expanding parkland along the Muddy River, this project will mitigate stormwater pollution and improve public access! We are excited to see this project kick off and look forward to seeing all the good it will do for the Muddy River subwatershed.
