Volunteer Spotlight: Daniel Reeves

Daniel Reeves began volunteering for CRWA in 2020 through Code for Boston, a volunteer organization that connects software developers to non-profits. Daniel led the initial development and then maintained the software powering CRWA's flagging program for FIVE YEARS, which manages water quality alerts in the Charles River Lower Basin to inform boathouses of unsafe boating conditions. We are so grateful to Daniel for his continued dedication to CRWA as a volunteer, updating the predictive models and working with staff and interns to maintain and troubleshoot issues that arise with the Flagging models and website. Daniel is moving to New York City in early March to continue his professional career as a software engineer. We will miss you!
