Tyler Chase serves as the Stormwater Project Manager, leveraging his expertise to advance CRWA’s mission of strengthening stormwater regulations, advancing green stormwater projects, eliminating combined sewer overflows, and establishing climate-adaptation stormwater standards for all communities along the Charles River and across the Charles River watershed.

A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Tyler Chase grew up near the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, where he developed a strong sense for environmentalism. Through pursuing both an A.S. in Engineering Physics from Pellissippi State Technical Community College and a B.S. in Plant Sciences from The University of Tennessee, Tyler Chase channeled his passion for nature into a professional drive focusing on ecological restoration, water resources engineering, and sustainable landscape design and management.

Before joining CRWA, Tyler Chase held the roles of Environmental Construction Project Manager for Empire Landscape, Inc., an Ecological Restoration Company near Washington, D.C., and Stormwater Coordinator for the Town of Farragut (TN) Engineering Department. He is currently further developing his skills and expertise by earning an M.S. in Water Resources Engineering within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Tufts University.
