FALL 2026 INTERNSHIP
Watershed Science Intern
CRWA’s watershed science internship offers on-the-job training in a variety of watershed management tasks in support of our River Science program. Areas of focus may differ depending on intern skills and interest, but may include water sampling, volunteer engagement, invasive plant management, data management and analysis, science communications, and environmental advocacy.
Potential Skills Gained:
Learn about water quality and environmental issues
Professional experience working with a non-profit organization
Volunteer engagement and communications
Working with and analyzing various types of water quality data
Watershed mapping and spatial data display
Communicating science with the public
Desired Qualifications:
Willingness to learn and ability to work independently
An interest in environmental and water quality issues
Preliminary coursework in biology, chemistry, environmental science, or a related field
Familiarity with R Studio software for data analysis (required)
Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Access to a car and a valid driver’s license (preferred)
