Senior Climate Resilience Program Manager

As the Senior Climate Resilience Program Manager, Dira primarily leads the Charles River Climate Compact (CRCC), a partnership of twenty-eight watershed communities that takes a watershed approach to climate change impacts, and works collaboratively on regional climate adaptation projects, including the Charles River Flood Model, Regional Tree Protection & Planting Plan, and the Drought-Resilient Landscape Design Plan.

Dira has a B.S. and an M.Sc. in Environmental Science from the University of Massachusetts Boston, with a background in aquatic toxicology research. Prior to joining CRWA, Dira volunteered as an educator at the New England Aquarium, where she grew her interest in bridging the world of science and public communication.

Originally from Malaysia, Dira is always in search of food that tastes like home. She also enjoys painting and yoga.
