Join us for CRWA’s 60th Annual Meeting!

Each spring, Charles River Watershed Association looks forward to connecting with you and other river lovers at our Annual Meeting to celebrate our impact, together, for a resilient Charles River.
Join us on Thursday, March 26th at 6PM for an evening full of inspiration! Thank you to our friends at MIT for providing their beautiful space.

Congratulations to the 60th Annual Meeting Awardees! Join us on March 26th to hear more about the incredible work these individuals, groups, and organizations have contributed to our watershed.

  • Presented to an individual (or organization) who, in the opinion of CRWA staff and Board, has made significant sacrifices over a career that have resulted in singular improvements for the Charles River, its watershed, and our natural environment. The award is given in honor of Anne M. Blackburn, who worked tirelessly over her career to protect and restore the environment, not just at CRWA or for the Charles River, but across decades and the eastern United States.

  • Presented to an individual or organization who is actively involved with efforts to protect and restore the Charles River through advocacy, community organizing, and coalition building.

  • Named in honor of CRWA’s executive director from 1974-1988, and presented to a person who holds a public post (elected or appointed) who has made extraordinary efforts to protect and restore the Charles River and its watershed.

  • Awarded on an occasional basis for those individuals or institutions who demonstrate extraordinary care for, protection of, or efforts toward improving the Charles River and its watershed.

  • Awarded on an occasional basis to young leaders who demonstrate extraordinary care and leadership for, protection of, or efforts toward improving the Charles River and its watershed.

  • Presented to outstanding CRWA volunteers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in donating their time and effort to assist with CRWA’s work to protect, preserve, and enhance the Charles River and its watershed.
