Annual Three Rivers Report Card Event

  • Francis D. Martini Memorial Shell Park and Moynihan Recreation Area 1015 Truman Parkway Hyde Park, MA, 02136 United States (map)

THE GRADES ARE IN!

For 30 years, the U.S. EPA has issued the annual Charles River Report Card to report the recreational health of the Charles River. Based on our data collected by community science volunteers, the report card grades show the percentage of time public health hazards like E.Coli bacteria, sewer overflows, and cyanobacteria blooms impede safe recreation in four river sections and two tributaries, the Stop River and Muddy River.

Join the Neponset, Charles, and Mystic River Watershed Associations for a collaborative event along the banks of the Neponset River in Hyde Park. The three groups will reveal this year’s water quality grades and highlight progress toward cleaner, more accessible rivers across Greater Boston.
