Governor Healey Launches Nation-Leading Biodiversity Initiative

Earlier this month, the Healey-Driscoll Administration launched a nation-leading 25-year biodiversity initiative that will help restore rivers, forests, and habitats across the state. The goals established in this plan include reducing pollution, removing obsolete dams, accelerating nature-based solutions, and more that would increase climate resilience across the Charles River watershed and beyond!

“The implementation of this plan will be transformative for all who call Massachusetts home, human and animals alike,” said Executive Director Emily Norton.
