Removing Invasive Plants with the North American Indian Center of Boston
On October 19, we facilitated an invasive plant removal with the North American Indian Center of Boston (NAICOB) in Jamaica Plain.
Biological Monitoring Season Most Successful To Date!
This year’s Biological Monitoring season was our most successful to date! Together, with the help of our dedicated volunteers and school partners, we were able to sample from 19 sites throughout the watershed (compared to 12 sites last year).

A Successful Summer of Invasive Species Removal!
This summer’s invasive removal programs were a smashing success! With over 750 volunteer hours from our extraordinary volunteers and corporate sponsors, we removed an incredible 4,500 of pounds of invasive water chestnuts from the Lakes District of the Charles River.
24th Annual Earth Day Charles River Cleanup Kick-Off
This year, the Earth Day Charles River Cleanup will bring together approximately 3,000 volunteers at over eighty sites across the watershed to beautify the parks, forests, playgrounds, and paths for all to enjoy.

We are sad to share that Maury Eldridge, a long-time adventurer, paddler, volunteer photographer, and supporter of CRWA, has passed away.
