Join Charles River Watershed Association and the City of Newton for a community celebration featuring the bank improvement work along Cheesecake Brook!
Programming will begin at 6 pm with a presentation on the history of the 2-year project and its significance for the Charles River. A brief Q&A will follow and transition into an onsite ribbon cutting with a few words from CRWA and our partners at 6:45. Stick around for community, conversations, and a planting maintenance-training from City of Newton staff where you will learn more about the development of the plantings as they begin to establish themselves.
