CRWA Goes to River Rally
Earlier this month, several CRWA staff attended the River Network’s 2026 River Rally in San Antonio, Texas! River Rally is the nation’s largest gathering of river and water leaders working at the intersection of conservation, justice, and community resilience. It brings together hundreds of professionals from nonprofits, Tribal nations, government agencies, businesses, and academic institutions to share ideas, spark innovation, and build solutions to today’s most urgent water challenges. As an organization, we are constantly looking to learn from industry best practices and the inspiring work of our peers. We also love to share our own knowledge with the hope that we can grow together to maximize our collective impact on our waterways and the environment.
“I really appreciated learning from other BIPOC environmental leaders and discussing ways we can help our communities by meeting them where they are. It was empowering to be surrounded by Indigenous people and have them share their ancestral knowledge on how to continue to be water advocates, and it was a pleasure to witness a blessing of the river,” said Joanna Argudo, CRWA’s Climate Resilience Engagement Associate and first-time River Rally attendee.
