Welcome, Amanda, CRWA's Rita Barron Fellow

We are excited to welcome Amanda Darby as our new Rita Barron Fellow! In this role, she will support the River Science and Restoration programs.

Her primary focuses include water quality sampling and analyses, habitat site assessments, conducting GIS and R analyses, and working with and training volunteers. Amanda earned her B.S. in Environmental and Marine Science at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine before earning her M.S. in Marine Biology at Northeastern University.

Charles River

Charles River Watershed Association’s mission is to use science, advocacy, and the law to protect, restore, and enhance the Charles River and its watershed. We develop science-based strategies to increase resilience, protect public health, and promote environmental equity as we confront a changing climate.
