Celebrate the cleanup of our city's Dirty Water under a brilliant sunset with Charles River Watershed Association's Friends of the Charles River! Join us on the docks of Community Boating along the Esplanade to enjoy a beautiful mid-summer night with the live band Moose & the Mops.
Here at CRWA, we work tirelessly to make sure the Charles never returns to the disastrous state that The Standells sang about in "Dirty Water." We've come a long way—earning two A- grades from the EPA—but we still have work to do. The Charles River Party is a night of celebrating the success we've seen so far and raising awareness on issues that face us today, such as CSO overflow notification and stormwater and wastewater pollution.
Our Charles River Party is also a great opportunity to network with professionals from the area while supporting a local environmental nonprofit. All proceeds will go to CRWA to help support the law, science and advocacy work on the Charles River and 35 towns within its watershed.
If you are interested in sponsorship for this event, please contact Madison Wolters at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are using a ride share option, please use the address 170 Charles St, Boston, MA 02114, as there is no place to pull over on Mugar Way. There is no onsite parking, but it is a short walk from the redline station Charles MGH.
